History of Marshall County Animal Shelter

The Marshall Country Animal Shelter is located at 839 Benton-Briensburg Road in Benton Ky.  The animal shelter got its start in 2003 when the Marshall County Fiscal Court  started a full county supported animal shelter.  Thanks to the Kentucky Department of Agriculture a grant provided the necessary funding to complete the shelter.  Now the shelter provides a great place for animals to stay while they are awaiting adoption.  The official website for the Marshall County Animal Shelter is http://www.marshallcounty.ky.gov/Departments/AnimalShelter/AnimalShelter.html.
